If you still like to remove hair by shaving, it's good to consider the following points.
For most women, shaving is a must-do beauty ritual that must be done routinely every month. And because it deals with skin conditions, you shouldn't take it lightly, which can hurt your own skin. If you are among those who choose to shave legs, armpits and other feathers, I will discuss more about the ins and outs of shaving. The correct way to learn is from mistakes, right? Okay, if so we learn from the shaving mistakes that are often done by many people.
1. Make a razor complicated
Let's start with the most basic ones first: Do women really need razors that are different from men for shaving? No. You don't need a special razor (especially until the pink one hehehe ) to shave your fur. You can even use the brand of knives commonly used by men. To ensure safety, don't forget to use shaving foam or soft soap so the skin is not irritated.
If you want a special shaver , you might be able to look for it in terms of blade designs that architecturally fit the curves and contours of a woman's body.
2. Sharing a razor with others
Although you can wash and sterilize it, you shouldn't share a razor with someone else (be it your siblings or your spouse). Why? We don't know how much other people's feathers can cause blades to blunt when you wear them. This can cause the skin to become injured, you know. In addition, sharing care tools is also the easiest way for germs and bacteria to spread.
3. Shaving on dry skin
Can shaving on dry skin have a bad effect? Really can. This can increase the risk of skin irritation, enlarge the growth of in-grown hair, causing itching. Use shaving lotion to help the blade run smoothly over your skin. Try not to shave the same area several times. If you don't have a shaving lotion , you can replace it by applying soap or hair conditioner to the area you want to shave. This can be an alternative to reduce friction and help prevent injury.
4. Forget to exfoliate and use moisturizers
Even though you have used lotion, cream or shaving gel, you still have to moisturize the skin after shaving and rinsing it. Shaving can irritate the skin barrier by removing some of the upper layers in the skin. Use a moisturizing cream that is free of fragrance or can also be with oils that can contain ingredients that can increase skin barrier , such as ceramide .
In addition to keeping the newly shaved area moist, also consider skin exfoliation. Some interesting ideas that you can try here, use a dry brush to exfoliate your skin every 2 or 3 days to open the "road" so that no in-grown hair begins to form when shaving. Or, if you have mild exfoliating toner , you can also use this product to help remove dead skin cells in the shaved area.
5. Shave before bathing
It's really recommended to shave after bathing. Because your skin will be warmer, the pores have been opened so that the hair on the body becomes softer.
6. Keep a razor in your shower
Want your razor to last longer? Remove from the bathroom and store in a dry place. This prevents rust and bacteria from sticking to the blade and increases shelf life. If the blade starts to dull or rust, it's time to replace it with a new one.
7. Wait too long to replace the razor
It does not no rules exactly when you should replace the knife because it all depends on how often you shave. The exact indicator is the comfort level of the razor when used. If the blades are dull and don't glide comfortably on the skin, this is a sign to start replacing them with new ones. Usually , this happens after 10 shaves, but it can also be more. Depending on the thickness of your fur.
For the future do not take it lightly again about shaving hair. Because as I've never experienced before: if you are not serious, your own skin might be exposed to the risk of starting to feel sore, itching, irritation and so it looks not beautiful anymore.
