Some time later, often I access several sites from Facebook. Actually it is not extraordinary, because it has become one of the habits of many people. Hundreds of information can easily be shared by users on their Facebook accounts.
Not a few of the sites I open that implement the AMP page, which when opened will use Facebook as a medium. When browsing that often appears native ads in the middle or end of the article. Initially I assumed, it was from Google Adsense. Because there are sponsored posts.
But then I realized, the ad didn't belong to Google at all. But it has its own Facebook. I also found the name Audience Network by Facebook. This service is a Facebook advertising application, similar to combining Google Adsense and AdWords in one house.
Actually the Audience Network has been a long time. I just don't have enough updates. Indeed, in the past, people could only advertise on Facebook, so their income was insane. That also makes Mark Zuckerberg one of the richest people in the world. But now it has begun to open up.
They have special services for developers. We can display native ads from Facebook that are tailored to the appearance and concept of the original content. Yes similar to Adsense, except the type of ad. Facebook implements further individual-based advertising.
Although Audience Network allows us to earn from applications made or websites, blogs included, but they have very strict rules. It's not about supporting supporting Indonesian-language sites, but it's far more complicated than that.
Here are the ways and conditions to start monetization through Audience Network.
1. Blog or site must implement SDK
Maybe this is what makes your forehead wince, because not all bloggers apply the SDK aka Software Development Kit on the development of their blog. So this SDK tool is used to make software to make certain packages. One of them includes application programming interface (API) programming.
But for those of you who have implemented the SDK, it will be easy to integrate applications or websites with Audience Network. Although they suggest implementing the SDK, it does not mean it is not open to others. Because Facebook actually only suggests.
2. Must have a Monetization Manager account
Monetization Manager is a platform that is in Facebook Business Manager. Creating a Business Manager has its own way. So it's the same to do monetization. You have to create a Business Manager page first, then the Monetization Manager app.
This application will later replace the Audience Network section of Facebook for Developers. Many tasks, such as managing property to ad placement and maximize revenue. Maybe some people just imagine it is mumet. Relax, you are not alone.
3. Applications must be in the Google Play Store or App Store
Wait ... Yes, because basically to do monetization on the Audience Network only supports the mobile version, the conditions are indeed tough. We must at least display our site or site application on the Google Play Store or App Store.
That is why, they strongly support sites that implement the SDK. Even if it's not on the App Store, they will ask our SDK expert team to do the testing. If all is successful they will talk about integration and payment accounts, just in case they can earn from Facebook.
Maybe because of this heavy struggle above, not many bloggers talk about it. The average site that displays ads from Facebook is also a company that has a special team of experts. Facebook seems to limit cooperation with conditions that are a bit selective.
If it were easier to implement, maybe Audience Network would really be a competitor of Google Adsense. But seeing the ring, it will be difficult. Adsense still be excellent among bloggers.
I will still do the Audience Network trial. In case there is an easy path that can be taken. Even if anyone has already tried, it is permissible to share the story in the comments column. Who knows, I might be mistaken about this Audience Network.
Greetings creations!
