It is known that there are at least nine bad Android applications found in the Play Store which turned out to have been downloaded thousands of times. All of these malicious applications try to disguise themselves as applications for Android phone performance optimization.
But in reality, all of these rogue applications are not applications for Android phone performance optimization. But these applications can instead take over Google accounts and Facebook accounts from victims.
According to a report by a cyber security company, Trend Micro, all of these malicious applications have malware that can severely damage the victim's cellphone. These applications pretend to be an application that can optimize the performance of users' Android phones by over-cleaning certain files.
When the application is installed on a cellphone, then this malicious application instead downloads about 3,000 variants of malware and they also have the ability to be able to access their victim's Google account and Facebook account to then carry out advertising practices which of course are fraudulent and are detrimental to their users.
Apart from that, after the criminals who use these applications have mastered the Google account and the victim's Facebook account, they will then use these accounts to make and send comments and also give fake ratings for their applications on the Play Store to attract users who other way to download the malicious application. That way they will get more dollars from downloading applications on the Play Store.
And furthermore, this fake application will also ask for permission to disable the Play Protect feature which is a security program from the Google Play Store. This was done to facilitate these rogue applications to download even more corrupt software.
These applications have indeed been removed from the Play Store, but still can be dangerous to users if the application is already installed on the cell phone. So it is better to immediately delete these applications.

- Quick Games-H5 Game Center (this application has been downloaded more than 100,000 times).
- Rocket Cleaner (this application has been downloaded more than 100,000 times).
- Rocket Cleaner Lite (application has been downloaded more than 10,000 times).
- Speed Clean-Phone Booster, Junk Cleaner & App Manager (this application has been downloaded more than 10,000 times).
- LinkWorldVPN (this application has been downloaded more than 1,000 times).
- H5 gamebox (this application has been downloaded more than 1,000 times).
