Blogging or we usually call it blogging is the activity of someone who runs his activities as an article writer to fill his blog.
Blogging can indeed be done by anyone, it's also easy to even make a blog free.

I started blogging

I started blogging in 2012, when I just entered the vocational high school majoring in Multimedia and coincided that day I made a blog.
The first semester of grade 7 that I learned was about assembling and installing computers, and everything I learned was written on a blog.
Then the second semester of class 7 there is a lesson about blogs, here I am a little calm because I already have my own blog and have a lot of content or articles.
What is interesting again is that because of the instinct of a beginner I add widgets that are not important but it is very cool when it is like a music widget, writing that follows the cursor, then the rain leaves effect and many more.
Because the basic creation of the blog has been taught by the teacher, so my friends have been able to create their own blogs but they have not been able to add effects or widgets like me and finally I teach them also to add widgets on their blogs.

Then in the 8th grade of the first semester, there is learning about website creation using the wordpress platform.
Here in one class divided into two groups, each group there are 14 people for joint ventures to buy hosting, at that time if I'm not mistaken the joint venture is around 20 thousand per person.
Luckily there is a cheap web hosting provider so you can learn to make a website too using the wordpress platform.
Because I got the highest score in grade 7, I was finally chosen to be the main admin who manages cPanel and its main domain.
Then each student is given 1 subdomain to make their own website.
And in the end I got the highest score again from the entire class at that time.
That's a little story about me, why I tend to prefer more blog or website lessons than design and editing lessons at the time.
Maybe my basic is there and finally now I work at one company to manage the website.
5 Reasons Why I Still Blog?
Actually there are many reasons for me to keep blogging, but here are 5 basic reasons for me to keep blogging from 2012 until now in 2019.
It doesn't feel like it's been about 7 years of my blogging experience, it's been about 3 times I changed blogs and this is my 4th blog.

1. As a source of income
Actually the main reason I blog is not because of income or to get money, in my opinion the income from the blog is only the added value of what we have written or what we share on the blog.
But of the many people I have met in forums or from a number of blog comments, so many have asked about how to get income from blogs.
Therefore the first reason for blogging is as a source of income .
Keep in mind that, anyone can make money from blogs and sources of income from that blog very much, not just from adsense ads. There are still other ad service providers that you can try.
2. Hobbies or Writing Likes
This is the main reason I make a blog, I prefer typing or writing on a blog.
So, from the beginning I really like looking for a blog tutorial and if the tutorial is successful, then I will rewrite it on my own blog while practicing it.
In addition to reflecting on what I have always done, blogging also aims to hone my skills in composing interesting words to read.
3. As a Media for Sharing Knowledge
As I said in point number two, whatever I have tried, I will rewrite it on the blog.
My goal is to share knowledge about what I have done.
When compared to writing in a book or hand writing on a piece of paper, I really prefer writing or typing on a computer and shared on a blog. Therefore, this blogger becomes the right means or media to share knowledge.
4. As a Medium for the Promotion of Products and Services
Not only me, maybe there are friends who are reading this article.
Blogs can not only be used as a medium for writing, sharing, or just writing a diary .
Blogs can also be used as a medium to promote the products and services you have.
I myself do this.
Moreover, this blogger is free, there is no need to pay money, so we should take advantage of this opportunity as much as possible.
5. To fill leisure time
The reason I blogged at that time was that I had a lot of free time, so I decided to create a blog and finally continue to this day.
But right now I don't have much free time. Because you already have other activities that need to be done.
Therefore, if you have a lot of free time to use it as well as possible, look for activities that you think are positive and can be useful for yourself and others.

Creating a blog is easy and free with the blogger platform, if you want to look professional then use your personal domain.
But if you have more costs then try to buy cheap hosting to create a blog with the wordpress platform because there are more features compared to bloggers.
