Some Indonesian artists have experienced hacking Instagram accounts by irresponsible elements. Although in the end their account can be returned, the process is not easy. But this time Instagram is rumored to have facilitated access to accounts that have been blocked or hacked.
Reportedly, the process of handling user reports related to hacked accounts and reactivation of accounts has made Instagram more transparent, quoted from Phonearena, Thursday (02/13/2020). This step is also claimed to make it easy for users to report something through the 'Support Request' feature.
Later, the feature will show the status of the report as well as proof of the history of Instagram user reports. Furthermore, the feature also allows Instagram users to report other user content, and can mute to block the account.
After the report results come out, users can choose 'Request a Review' if the results obtained are deemed inappropriate or unfair. This feature is similar to an appeal like in court. Reportedly, this new feature will launch in the coming weeks.
