For various reasons, this is my first post in 2018 specifically for BLOGOOBLOK. There are bitter and miss writing and greeting great people who are faithfully lost in this blog.

2017 has been a bad year for me. There aren't many things that I can share on this blog. Maybe because of busy hone and enlarge the writing elsewhere. As a full time blogger, it doesn't really feel right to have to share your heart. But everything has a reason.

This paper I begin with questions that always make me think. Questions that you may often hear, or even ask. Why should I start blogging and how can it benefit me?

Although everyone has their own reasons, there are a number of common reasons worth noting in order to start blogging.

1. Personal Development

There are always ways to develop yourself. One that I apply is blogging. Realizing that blogging is one of my business bases, I don't want to make it go to waste. I can get income from writing is my reason for deepening it.

Initially, I was like other bloggers who might be too lazy to write. But as time passed, I realized through blogs, I could express myself better. I can freely write my ideas, ideas, stories about anything through a blog.

Incidentally, for this blog specifically about technology. I have several channels to write. Some even become permanent writers for certain themes.

What must be understood, that writing should have been a habit of people for centuries. Previously maybe only in notebooks, now the medium is more diverse. One of them is a blog. Therein lies its amazing, because we can share notes in an open forum.

After seeing a lot of writing, then study it. I later got used to developing it. I learned many ways to write different themes, identify to sharpen my own ideas, perfect opinions and build discipline.

In some writings, I even had to learn how to make my own outlets. Fighting fear and feeling of lack of confidence. But I enjoyed it until a number of writings have been collected both short and long. Some are even bought by the media.

All because I started from a blog. Build your own portfolio until people see it. I think there is nothing in vain by doing that.

2. Income

Almost everyone who starts blogging, already understands that a blog can make money. But before it is too far away, I want to emphasize if not every blog will be profitable. But many bloggers are able to prove both income directly or indirectly.

This paper will not discuss how blogs can make money. Some of the writings on this blog already explain that problem. Please look for and do from the earliest stages. What I want to emphasize, that this blog has been able to support my small family.

I am not a person who likes to show income. But I want to share with friends, if BLOGOOBLOK gets a source of income from several elements. One of them is certainly from Google Adsense. At other times from the affiliate program and the latest paid content.

If asked, how much is my income from this blog. I choose not to mention nominal. Besides being less ethical, the income I get is also not much compared to other bloggers in this country. That's because there isn't a product like the ebook that I sell.

But I want to share my experience, in the first year I started this blog I could barely afford to pay for coffee if it rested on Adsense income. But time never stops, something we build will ultimately produce results. Certainly the right way. Not true. Because there is nothing wrong in blogging.

I was once amazed at one of the affiliate links that I planted in this blog. After all this time, I let it stand, apparently there are also people who are kind enough to buy services from my link. I never force it, let people decide for themselves.

Although I really hope, dear readers can help donate some of their expenses to BLOGOOBLOK. Yes, like buying web hosting with recommendations on this blog. :)

There are many ways you can do it. But because of my limitations, I was only able to do the above. Blogs can also be a profitable asset at certain times. The point is to build a brand, and make it easier for people to find it in search engines. Income will come naturally.

3. Relationships and Reciprocity

True people say, many friends have a lot of luck. I started this blog with the intention to share. One by one I published the writings until finally hundreds were created. From the beginning my friendship in the blog world was quite limited, now it is getting wider.

I do not want to jumawa, that I have known all bloggers in Indonesia. No. Maybe even, not many people know me further. But with blogs, I opened millions of elements in building relationships. Not only in Indonesia but throughout the world.

A person from years ago arrived by email. We communicate and increasingly intense. In stuttering English, I finally made good friends with him. Not a few, instead he became my source of income with a variety of forms.

Some people also don't hesitate to send emails to me. They shared their experiences of reading articles on this blog. I was very touched when they benefited. If you want to be honest, this is what makes me happy, because it managed to put a smile on someone else's face.

When our work is appreciated even with words of gratitude, for me it is more than enough money. Reciprocity from the dear reader is a priceless life. That's what makes me unable to leave blogging.

I am aware, this blog has not given many positive contributions to people. But I keep trying even though there are often many obstacles. But I am very grateful to those who are able to use this blog to voice worthy goals. So fabulous.

So, if you have to answer the original question. Why start blogging? I think, everyone's answers will always be different. But, I guarantee, I have a lot of experience and kindness after starting it.

Blogging has helped me develop personally, helping me to get other sources of income than just a hobby of writing. Blogs also open a wide space for unlimited friendship. I may not be able to make a big difference to other people, but through the slightest blog I am very grateful.

To complete the question above, please answer it yourself. Regards!
